The lakeland location which always sticks in my mind is Catbells. Be it the view from across Derwent Water and it's familiar friendly outline or the view up to it's main summit from the path along it's ridge. I first came here in around 1989 I guess so it's no wonder my bond to it is a strong as the rocks it is made of.
